Hello Beam

We’ll start with a classic cantilever beam. We’ll apply a load on its far face and fix the near face. We can create this in nTop as a simple box. Let’s pick some dimensions: 8 meters long, 2 meters wide, and half a meter tall. And centered at the origin.

The notebook used in this guide is available as hello_beam.ntop in this same directory (C:\Program Files\SileomSimulate\hello_beam.ntop).
